Re: Brexit consequences

Heard an interview with Nick Boles saying there's at least 40 other conservative MPs who would vote down a no deal brexit. It's not clear to me that no deal gets a vote. Would seem to be what happens if a deal is presented to parliament and doesn't get approved or if no deal is presented to parliam...

Re: Suguru.

Just had a go at an 'easy' one from the link - looks like fun - will study further. Note to Ketchup - that puzzle and Sudoku are not number puzzles - they are logic puzzles. The numbers could be substituted by letters or any other symbols. My favourite is killer sudoku which does involve maths. http...

Re: Brexit consequences

No doesn't bother me much either although I eat both. Whatever's wrong with America I don't suppose it's caused by adulterated meat.

It's just all so unnecessary.

Gripping stuff.

I will be watching last week's again before tonight's episode - see if I can make sense of it.

Quote from Jaqui Smith on Good Morning Britain when asked if the relationship between MP and guard was close... "Yes - but not that bloody close"

Re: Overrated Tourist Traps to Avoid at All Costs.

I've only done a couple of those. I'm not very good with tourist destinations. Although we lived within a couple of hours drive of both for 14 years, we never visited Sevilla nor Cordoba - both of which are tourist hotspots (well we went to Sevilla twice but only to go to Ikea  ). I prefer to ...

Re: FB Meme

Some time ago I corrected an obvious 'inacurracy' in one of her posts and she accused me of stalking her. :con

I now leave her alone with her delusions.

Just checked - we are not mutual 'friends' - although we could be. ;)

Re: FB Meme

Quite.

For context our 'friend' is a right-wing British Christian.

The meme is confusing though. It's as if the writer is barely literate and the facts are dodgy in the extreme.

In fact it's so absurd, I can't believe it's real. Satire maybe?

Re: Driving psychology

Scenario 1: it would depend on the circumstances: how big the slow vehicle was, how slowly it was going, how far ahead could I see clearly, whether there were any other roads joining mine from which another vehicle might suddenly emerge.... I would have to be VERY sure that it was safe. Scenario 2:...
