Re: Boris Johnson.

News from Marcus J Ball. "Our criminal prosecution case against Boris Johnson is continuing. This is why."

Quite long and rather complicated.

Cameron - The Alternative Autobiography. Part one.

David Cameron – How I Destroyed Britain – as told to Otto English: part one of our exclusive serialisation. At the age of 13 I was sent away to Eton. Much nonsense is written about that establishment but it’s a perfectly ordinary place really. Certainly no different from any of the other major publ...

"Boris’s pretty young carer had a lovely time at the races today at the St Leger Festival. That is, apart from an increasingly sinking feeling that she had backed the wrong horse."

The President's seeking to dump
Some light bulbs that give the old chump
An orangey hue

Re: Brexit consequences

An interesting view from Forbes, the American business magazine. The U.K. stock market is increasingly telling us Brexit is dead. This possibility in the almost unfathomable Brexit crisis has become totally feasible. When the Brexit vote occurred I wrote here, that Brexit would be killed, an opinion...

Re: Weird weather

Totally OT I suppose, but I'm off on hols to Switzerland on Wednesday. Weather forecast is distinctly chilly for most of the week, but escaping the horrendous shambles in the UK will be so refreshing. Are you planning to ask for asylum? I doubt I could afford it with £1 = CHF1.14 when I came away. ...

Old Boris, who says 'girly swot',
And similar jolly old rot,
Who reeks of misogyny
And can't count his progeny,
Continues to win diddly-squat.

Re: Travel Insurance

Greetings from Switzerland. I meant to add earlier that most tour operators now insist clients have travel insurance. If it's not the company's own, another company name and Policy Number is required. Obviously if your arrangements are made independently, it's a personal decision. As the EHIC is not...

A Tory MP crossed the floor
To join the Lib Dems, and therefore
The PM's majority
And thus what authority
He had up to now is no more.

We never have up to now but we're off to Gran Canaria for a week and OH is thinking about it.

Any of you seasoned travellers bother with it?
Always. On the back of the EHI Card - "Make sure you have valid travel insurance."
