Drug-Induced Near Death Experience.

In a new article, Steven Novella writes about a recent study looking at the hallucinogen DMT (N,N-Dimethyltryptamine) and how aspects of human consciousness can be altered. The most fundamental implication of this research, and other similar research, is that fantastical, religious, mystical, and pa...

Psychic Sally to help CBB housemates get in touch with their dead careers.

It is hoped that the ageing TV medium and psychic might be able to pull her usual trick of making up some bullshit for the more gullible housemates and convince them that their dead careers are back within reach again, all for the amusement of millions of sneering viewers. http://newsthump.com/2018...

Re: Boris Johnson on the Burka

comes over as a stupid, blundering buffoon but there must be more to him than that. In my opinion, that's just a small part of the act. Everything Johnson says or does is calculated to promote his personal ambitions to become Tory leader and PM. He is sufficiently unscrupulous, devious and mendacio...

Re: "The Bridge".

I've been doing some catching up on the last episodes of what is supposed to be the final series. I still find the opening music sort of hypnotic, but can hardly make out most of the words. This might be a repeat post, but here are the lyrics. "The name of the soundtrack for the Danish-Swedish crime...

I suggest you close the curtains, have a cup of camomile tea, lie down and consider the concepts of rational thought and clarity of expression.

Re: Late night music.

Really enjoyed those last 2 posts - thanks both. As often happens, the best music gets on the TV ads. I tend not to pay much attention to them, until something grabs my ear. The music is used to preview ITV drama, for some reason, but the Lacrimosa from Mozart's Requiem is definitely ear-catching. N...

"Brexit food shortages an opportunity for the poor to diet"..

Says Dominic Raab. :clap From a satirical news site new to me. Speaking to Piers Morgan on breakfast TV, Dominic Raab said: “Brexit offers a multitude of amazing opportunities for Britain, including the chance for the rich to get even richer, the chance for xenophobes to have blue passports, and opp...
