Re: Ken Livingstone resigns from Labour Party.

I don't think Ken is antisemitic. He is clearly opposed to the Hardliners occupying power in the state of Isreal and I suspect that he's not a Zionist in more general terms. It is not an uncommon tactic of those who support Isreal to accuse her detractors of anti-antisemitism and so I think Mr Livin...

Re: Brexit consequences

A) We (the UK Government) are not pursuing that or anything like it B) If we did would the EU go for it - separating the four freedoms has been a red line for them C) Would Brexiteers be happy with that solution - probably not - who knows? But they are unlikely to be happy with any feasible solutio...

I misread "psychic-crime fighter" as "psychic crime-fighter" and expected something quite different.

I need a cat that fills four bags of garden waste every Monday. If she can keep the dog from digging holes too then it might not look like the bloody Somme out there.

Re: Brexit consequences

I assume that somewhere out there are a number of British nationals who are experienced EU trade negotiators. After all I'm told that we've played a leading part in all EU trade deals for the past 40 years. I cannot help but wonder what they're doing now. Are the recused from both sides or fought ov...

Re: The gender wage cap

The problem appears to be exacerbated by the average salaries being heavily skewed by the huge remuneration packages at the board levels where women are particularly poorly represented. The argument put forward is that whilst progress has been made over the past decade or so in levelling the playing...
