Re: speed.

AC, I vaguely remember reading that Freeforums do their maintenance between midnight and 1am, California time, which must be about GMT-8 or something, so that might partly explain some slowing down, between 8am and 9am. Just speculating. ETA. I haven't seen any complaints on the Support Forum about ...

Re: speed.

have noticed the forum being slow to load over the last few days. I might be imagining it, but around 9am and 5pm can be particularly bad. I expect it is more to do with Freeforums rather than a particular browser.

Cameron's hospital visit.

Today, an up-dated version of Dr Éoin Clarke's blog appeared, describing Cameron's recent visit to Newcastle's RVI. http://eoin-clarke.blogspot.com/2012/02/full-story-of-camerons-visit-to-nhs.html About an hour ago, an article was published in The Telegraph with major denials. Sir Leonard, the chief...

Re: Baroness Warsi and "totalitarian regimes"

Some reasoned debate on the "militant secularism" Baroness Warsi talked of.

Radiation shielding dome bed canopy.

Oh dear, I seem to be in flippant-mode. Must to bed. But for anyone with the odd £465.70 to spare, this might be worthy of your attention. Or not. :st

Facts and Fiction of the Schumann Resonance.

So our major point today is that you should be very skeptical of any product, service, article, website, or merchant who uses the Schumann resonance, in any way, as part of a sales pitch. The Earth does not have any particular frequency. Life on Earth is neither dependent upon, nor enhanced by, any...

Baroness Warsi and "totalitarian regimes"

Irony? In an historic visit to the Vatican, Baroness Warsi will express her “fear” about the marginalisation of religion throughout Britain and Europe, saying that faith needs “a seat at the table in public life”. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/politics/9080452/Britain-being-overtaken-by-militant-s...

Re: Is the bar open in this place?

I'm afraid it was an early night for me, following several restless nights due to the heat and humidity. I certainly associate brown with the 70's. A couple of years ago, I stayed at a hotel on Skye. They had recently refurbished the restaurant/dining room to a high standard - expensive carpets and ...
