"2012 Doomsday"

"There are some things you need to know about the rumors of the "end of the world" or "Doomsday" in 2012.

The "2012 doomsday" is a hoax, a fraud, and an absolute con job."

It seems to be reasonably well-regarded so it might be worth your while downloading it and running a full scan. That could take up to ...

Re: Tinnitus.

So, at 2.29 am, I am here, feeling sleepless, with a TIF (Tinnitus Irritation Factor, based on subjective 1-10 thingy) of 2/3, and feeling fortunate. Is it the whisky/water drink, or summat else that has produced the improvement? I wish I knew.

Saint Theresa??

No, obviously! In a 2004 exchange which is set to haunt embattled Theresa May, the present home secretary told a Labour minister to resign over an immigration scandal, saying that she was “sick and tired” of ministers blaming other people “when things go wrong”. But she has the backing of Cameron! O...

Re: Tonight's tea...

Well, it might be unfair to say this on the basis of just three nights, but the tastiest and best value meal in Lille was tonight's. At the local Chinese restaurant, a few hundred yards up the road. There was a huge choice, including French dishes. Opting for a menu offering a choice of 4 starters a...

Re: Tonight's tea...

Well, tonight it was Moules marinière - tasty but not too blockbusting if slightly messy. (I do seem to be developing considerable dribbling skills these days, but unfortunately they have nothing to do with football.) Like most dishes round here, they were accompanied by a dreadfully generous bowl o...
