Boris Johnson.

Keep an eye out in the news for publicity issues re the Foreign Secretary, and not the sort he usually relishes. Within the next few weeks, I'm guessing.

Hmm...let me guess: he's been attending seances at which he keeps trying to channel Winston Churchill? :con

Not at all. There will be hundreds, even a few thousands of people who will be aware. A decision has been made and it's down to the organisers as to when that decision is made public.

So, was that what it was all about?

I can't say I'm surprised by anything he said - he's made no secret of his views.

Well, looks like I've been rather optimistic. The issue will be going public "within the next 3 months". But I've been told, "It's going to be very loud." Not sure exactly what to make of that, but we'll just have to wait and see. :???:

From today's New European.
A private prosecution case is set to be lodged against the former foreign secretary who sensationally quit the cabinet after the prime minister revealed her Chequers plan.

Marcus J Ball has spent the past two years building the case against Johnson and even quit his job to spent more time gathering evidence.

The 28-year-old is now working with Lewis Power QC, of Church Court Chambers, to bring a charge of misconduct in public office. The specific accusation focuses on the claim that the UK sends £350m to the EU each week which Mr Ball disputes.

I dunno, I think to paraphrase apocalypse now "Charging a man with lying in this place was like handing out speeding tickets in the Indy 500."
