Crime calculator

Post by Tony.Williams » Thu Sep 07, 2017 10:57 am

The BBC has put up an on-line calculator to enable people in England and Wales to assess their risk of various types of crime, depending on age, gender and locality: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-41178903

Fortunately I am at the low-risk end of the range for everything, but that is not difficult to understand as I am retired and live in a semi-rural area. It will be the young men living in urban centres who occupy the other end of the scale.

Interesting.

Hertfordshire is one of the more densely populated counties in England, though I live in a town with a high rate of employment and a population of around 30,000. I too come in to the low-risk area, fortunately.
