Rees-Mogg.

Post by bindeweede » Wed Jul 04, 2018 8:44 pm

Matthew D'Ancona, presumably still a supporter of the Conservative party, writes about the "sinister political animal."
You know where you stand with Rees-Mogg. That’s what many Tories say. And it’s true. The trouble is that where he stands is rubbish: the precipice of a hard Brexit that will lead Britain into a sad, less prosperous isolation, to the strains of Elgar. He personifies all that is wrong with conservatism in 2018. But until we stop indulging him, we’ll deserve everything we get.
