Thanks Smudge and AC. I enjoyed those.

Grubbing around YouTube, I came across this version of Cole Porter's "So in love". Nice voice, and I like the tango-ish arrangement.

I tried to upload this to YouTube 2 years ago - just had one of those deja vu moments - have I already posted this??? - but they said I couldn't, but it has appeared. Oh, oh , oh.

Worth checking out, Bert Jansch, if mellowness is your thing. Sadly, he's no longer with us.

I've listened to this quite a few times now, and she is a bit "under the note" (ie flat) sometimes. But I still like the arrangement/delivery.

The voice, the song, the instrumentation, the arrangement, harmonies - everything - who does it remind you of?
Don't blame me - I voted remain :con

Carpenters, of course. Even the short oboe solo. Simply a tribute I hope.

I've been doing some finding out and apparently she is always being 'accused' of being 'Karen'. I would think she would be very flattered by that. The rest of her songs are far less Karen-esque. She has a great voice and a nice style IMHO. I love it.

The name is new to me. Here's another very nice track.
