We're just not compatible: she's an Aquarius and I don't believe in bullshit.

Clarke was wrong. It's Scorpio the Sceptic. Saggytarians are believers.

And isn't his most famous quote: "Hello little boy, would you like a sweetie"?"

Be careful with jokes like that. Looking out of the window, there are zillions of snowflakes around. :???:

We Saggies are passionate believers in a lot of things ... incessantly & experimentally inquisitive, fiercely independent and unreserved believers in freedom (above all) - none of which precludes us from entertaining a healthy degree of skepticism and discernment about life, death and the unknown, in general. ;)
And isn't his most famous quote .....
I believe know Arthur C. Clarke's most famous quote to be "The only way to discover the limits of the possible is to go beyond them into the impossible."

Anyone here disagree with that? Image

Like most sound-bites, it sounds good but I'm not sure that it means much. For example, if you want to discover how fast you can make an aircraft go at any given level of technology, I expect you'd start with what you knew was possible and keep nudging it forward from there. You wouldn't find the limit by starting with some impossible fantasy machine.
