She was working as a racist in a cocktail bar when he met her. But even then she knew she'd find a much better place either with or without him.
Bad news for UKIP.

Maybe not the Tories: apparently UKIP members suspect that Bolton might be a Lib Dem agent, sent to destroy the party from within.Tony.Williams wrote: ↑Mon Jan 22, 2018 11:25 amAny bets that Bolton was a plant by the Tories to destabilise UKIP? Are conspiracy theories allowed?![]()

Brilliant UKIP logic. Obviously the LibDumb priority would be to destroy a party with even less support than they have rather than try to get votes back from the Tories and Labour who squeezed them in the last two General Elections.

You mean they held a vote which reversed the result of a previous vote?
Don't blame me - I voted remain

"UKIP Faces Being Wound Up In A Fortnight After Judge Orders Payment Of £175,000 Libel Case Costs."
Oh dear. Who would have thought it could come to this? Perhaps some of Farage's Trumpy friends might come to the rescue?

Re: Bad news for UKIP.
UKIP has been tottering around since it achieved its basic aim and thereby became irrelevant. It's been the walking dead for months, so this could be a good excuse for it to disappear.

A brief update from a site new to me.
"UKIP faces collapse in candidate numbers ahead of local elections."
I expect Lord Hayward will have a pretty good idea where UKIP supporters have gone.
"UKIP faces collapse in candidate numbers ahead of local elections."
https://www.politicshome.com/news/uk/po ... head-localThe anti-EU party will contest just 550 seats, around 12% of the total. The figure is a marked reduction on the 2,193 fielded in 2014, when Nigel Farage led the party.
Lord Hayward, a Conservative pollster, said that the figures were catastrophic for UKIP, and said that the party appeared “virtually dead”.
I expect Lord Hayward will have a pretty good idea where UKIP supporters have gone.

Re: Bad news for UKIP.
In 2014 UKIP contested 42 out of 70 council seats in Croydon. In 2018 they can only manage 8 candidates:

Re: Bad news for UKIP.
Curiouser and curiouser. New UKIP leader announces his resignation - in a year's time.
https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/p ... 05211.html"Therefore, I intend to resign on 13th April 2019 so that a full leadership contest may take place. By then I will have decided if I wish to contest that election or not. For the next 12 months, I will concentrate on doing all I can to restore the party's fortunes. A very good start has been made and the party is now on a sound financial footing."
Re: Bad news for UKIP.
Cynical to suggest it's an effort to emulate the Blessed St Nigel in both resigning and campaigning to be leader again?
